The Palm Interactive Media Ltd Module SystemTM (PIMS) is a content manager that provides an easy, efficient and quick means of updating parts of a website, while maintaining the overall general design. The PIMS does all this without the user having any programming skills. To implement this system, a module enabled website will have a companion administrative website and a dynamic content database.

This administrative site is password-protected, and is therefore accessible only to client-authorized personnel. Through the administrative site, the client can change the content to be displayed in the website. The website administrator can specifically delete or edit old data, enter new data, change user passwords, ban users, etc, using the features available on the administrative site.

This data is kept in a database that feeds the website with the updated information. The website interface is customized to the client requirements. This means that if, for example, the news board module is used on several differently designed pages, there will have to be different implementations on the front end.
